Christmas for us is usually waking early-ish, throwing together what ever dish it is we have been instructed to provide at the family gathering, last minute present adjustments, deciding what to wear and usually a 40 minute drive or so to visit family for lunch. And despite the stress, it makes for a great day with the nieces.
But this year Christmas is a little bit different. We have decided to have a Christmas just for two on the road. After 20 days travelling around New South Wales, Canberra and Victoria, we have woken Christmas day to find ourselves in a cosy cabin at Coffs Harbour, listening to rain falling outside.
Breakfast was decadent chocolate chip cookies and lunch will be healthy snacks on the road.
Whatever your Christmas is this year, whether alone, with family or miles from home, we we wish you a very, Merry Christmas and a rewarding new year.
