The message isn't getting through to some people - Stay out of the flood water.
11 people have lost their lives over this flood period in Queensland. The latest, a teenager has drowned after she jumped off a bridge into a flooded creek at Cherbourg, north of Kingaroy yesterday.
The stupidity of this teenager not only meant she lost her life, but others including five State Emergency Service (SES) crew, two fire crew and others were forced to risk their lives in an attempt to save her.
If you see anyone blatently doing the wrong thing in and around flood waters, call Crime Stoppers.
