LIGHT THE NIGHT 2012

A record crowd of just under 2000 people went to Light The Night 2012 at Centenary Lakes, Caboolture. This was up from 1400 people last year.

Light The Night is predominately an awareness campaign for the Leukaemia Foundation.

The event s
tarted at about 5.30pm with music entertainment, followed by a number of touching speeches and then the big walk with coloured lanterns prominently on display in white (to represent blood cancer patients), blue (for supporters) and gold (for those remembering a loved one lost).

The walk marched off to the chilling and clear sound of bagpipes – Keep watching to see all the evening’s highlights.
