HOUSE FIRE - Michael Ave, Morayfield

A fire broke out at approximately 7.20pm tonight burning a house of a local business identity to the ground.

All emergency services attended the Michael Avenue premises next to the Drakes IGA.

The occupants of the home narrowly escaped with only the clothes they were wearing, not having enough time to even grab personal belongings.

The fire is now under control after Fire Officers fought the blaze using full breathing apparatus equipment. Investigations are continuing.
