Abbey Medieval Festival Presents: A Carnivale Night Extravaganza!
 Join us at the Abbey Medieval Festival and party like it is 1399! Held on the Saturday night of the 7th July, the Carnivale Night is not to be missed! As the newest highlight in the festival’s legendary program, the people of Abbeystowe will bring you the colour, pageantry and excitement of Medieval Europe in a spectacular 1.5 hour event.
The Carnivale Event starts at 5.30pm until 7pm and promises dancing, music, fire twirling, stilt walkers, horses and acrobatics, and even a Gypsy Wedding! With our medieval MC Sir Blair, guests are invited to dress up, don masks and participate in the spirited masquerade festivities!

Immerse yourself in the atmosphere of the Abbey Medieval Festival’s first ever Carnivale themed After Dark Special. With the Marketplace open until 6pm, offering visitors authentic medieval shopping and chance to experience scrumptious medieval cuisine, and Stag Inn open until 7pm, with its famous honey mead, this is a spectacular opportunity to unwind, meet new friends, socialise with re-enactors and end the day on a high note.

A two time finalist in the Queensland Tourism Awards, The Abbey Medieval Festival offers the real medieval experience to thousands of visitors annually and is a much loved annual event. Full Flight Birds of Prey - The Ultimate Up Close and Personal Experience

The Abbey Medieval Festival and Sir Justyn are proud to present: ‘The Full Flight Birds of Prey Up Close and Personal Experience’ you will never forget! For the first time ever, we are excited to announce this exclusive opportunity!

Come and experience historical falconry at its finest! Learn about the art of Falconry and See Hawks flying overhead, Kites performing aerobatics, Owls that fly silently through the night and bark like dogs, touch the huge Eagles and meet the Peregrine Falcons, the fastest birds in the world!  

We will have a professional photographer available to capture an image for you of this truly memorable experience with the beautiful and powerful birds of prey! All of your favourite majestic birds will be there including the Masked Owl, the Wedge Tailed Eagle, the owl and the Kestrel!
