Email from the Moreton Bay Ratepayer Action Group:
The letter below concerns the Deception Bay State Emergency Service.You should note the third paragraph on the first page- where it states no court action will be taken to recover monies.
This letter was given to 'The Ratepayer' by a concerned ratepayer,who also allegedly said that there was another $8000 involved in downloads from the internet / mis-use of a fuel card/ the locks on the SES building were filled with super glue / the SES boat & the SES building had graffiti painted over them / & the computer was smashed.
The computer was owned by the council & the council pays the phone/internet account.The fuel bill is also paid by council.
This is not good enough.Why should this occur when ratepayers are finding it hard to pay their rates & water.It is now time for change.
