Moreton Bay Regional Councillor Bob Miller has come out swinging in a letter leaked to McCarthy-Wood Media. The letter is in response to questions sent to Cr Miller by a constituent in relation to the Council looking at purchasing the Woodfordia site.

Cr Millar's letter:
Thanks for your email and comments on the prospect of Council acquiring the Woodford Festival site. I will respond more fully in the next little while when I have more time to fully explore your comments which I accept are being made without the same level of knowledge of the facts and figures that Council had at its disposal when all 13 councillors supported the recommendations and conditions under which it will advance this matter.
Similarly, others who commented in the Westerner lack any of the detail required to make informed comment on Council's decision and I have learned over a long period of time to question the motives of those who without adequate knowledge go down the proverbial path of publicly opening their mouth wide and putting their feet in it.. You can be assured that Council has and will before committing itself, fully explored all the implications on this matter and has clearly flagged that should any transaction eventuate that it will not be undermining the communities equity in this region but will continue to enhance it.
