Woodford Community Hall was turned into an Emergency Evacuation Centre during the recent flood disaster.
During the rush to set-up the centre, it became apparent the hall had no television reception. Having a working TV aerial was imperative to be able to monitor events as they unfolded.
Michael Wallis, from the evacuation centre, made a phone call to Picture Perfect, a business owned and run by Adam Leishman, asking for urgent help with the matter. Adam Leishman sent a technician out (during the disaster) within the hour to install and tune in a TV antenna on the roof of the makeshift evacuation centre.
Not only did Picture Perfect deliver this important service but they also did it at no cost. The TV antenna is now a permanent fixture on the hall and the Woodford community is grateful to Picture Perfect and Adam Leishman.
