Toogoolawah isolated by floodwaters
Motorists are advised that Toogoolawah has been isolated by rising flood waters. The Brisbane Valley Highway has been cut to the south by rising waters in Gallon Annie Creek and to the north, 2 – 3kms from town, by Boundary Creek.
Cressbrook Creek which travels parallel to the Brisbane Valley Highway has broken its bank rising 1 metre in 30 minutes. Police are advising residents and motorists to avoid driving in these conditions as it is considered dangerous.
